Fished my favorite Eastern Sierra lake today lake Crowley. It was the inaugural trip for my recently completed ********* YS 390/4. I love this rod, light weight, beautiful moderate action with some butt power. The thing cast the tightest loops. I was Stillwater nymphing in 12’ of water with size 18 zebra midges with white bead heads. This brown and rainbow were the first two fish taken on the rod. Handled the multiple fly and indicator rig perfectly. The rainbow when into the backing and jumped several times. I was able to land fish after several minute battles with no problems. What a cool rod. Dusty has done it again.
