For about a year I’ve been looking for property that will let me spend weekends close to one of my favourite rivers to fish (think I may have actually found a property).

I absolutely love fishing this river. From opener to about end of June it’s an amazing brook trout fishery, and when it gets too hot to fish for brook trout it’s a trophy smallmouth River. Below are a few river shots. By far though my favourite thing about this river is I can fish it all day and not see a single person.

Sorry no fish shots, I normally fish solo and don’t like fumbling with the camera. Below are some river shots.

Just a different part of the river. This river goes through multiple sections of rapids followed by slow moving like the second picture.
The second picture is actually right above the last photo.

I wouldn't mind that on some of the rivers here. Our freestone rivers that get going pretty fast sometimes but never slow down too much.
