Hiked in to a little lake north of us. Rod is a 6pc 8ft old Berkley. A very functional fishing tool. Forecast called for rain (my wife kept reminding me) but was nice all day, few squitos, one bear, life is good.

They are all great photos but that first one really stands out!

Very nice. I’ll echo what was said above—keep these coming.

I’m planning on fishing and hiking more your direction this year. This has me itching to go for the next outing.

Wow. That's really fantastic. I'm glad that you posted those pictures for us. I've never taken my 6 piece 8' Berkley anywhere near that pretty. What reel and line were you using?

ColdPass, is a Okuma Sierra. Line is a unknown wf6f, I love bright colored lines.

For several years I used the rod with a Shakespeare labeled DT5F, but wore that one to shreds.

Happy for you, but truly jealous. Most of us old folks hiding in our homes down here in Florida.

Looks like a wonderful day.

Great looking lake. Echo the comment about the first photograph being especially well done.

Thanks. Love my Berkeley’s. Especially the old 6 piece Buccaneer.
