My FF85 is such a sweet rod (7-8-9) I I use a new Medalist 7/8 with an SA Mastery Bass Bug and a Martin 67A with a sinking line. Both reels balance perfectly and the rod loves both of those lines and hurls them way out into the center of lakes. Don’t know why I bother doing that since I catch 90% of my bass in these ponds within 20 feet of shore …
