Douglas Upstream 884 and 833 both definitely have the soul.

McFarland Emerger 8’3” 4wt. This rod has enough soul to make one weak in the knees. Humbled, honoured, connected to something larger. These are the sentiments awoken when fishing this rod. A true work of art, an heirloom rod, pure magic.

The "glassiest" of my graphite rods is a Scott 8'8" G Series 4 wt, a 3 piece rod

Love it for dries, swinging nymphs and fishing small leeches, spiders etc out of a float tube on local lakes. Has enough power in the butt to land larger fish, but a smooth, slow action and soft tip for more delicate fishing.

Distant second is a Sage DS 8'6" 3 wt,2 piecer...Graphite II so slower in action, more like the LL Series previously mentioned

i've a Browning Gold Medallion m22985 8' 6/7wt 2pc. a fine casting rod with a fine matched line makes me appreciate the research that went into the mandrel/materials for this rod. makes my casting look much better than it is in reality.
