Join us for the 2nd Kinni Mini Glass Clave in beautiful River Falls, Wisconsin! We will be meeting out on the lawn at the Rush River Brewing Company from 2-5pm on Saturday, May 6th. Bring your favorite fiberglass fly rods to show off, and try out rods that others bring. Cast until your arm falls off, and enjoy a tasty beverage from the tap room. We’ll have a wide variety of glass to try – from classic and vintage to modern rods and ranging from the big makers to custom builders. The Clave will be just across the road from the upper Kinnickinnic River and there are many other high-quality trout streams in the area.

When: Saturday, May 6 from 2-5PM
Where: Rush River Brewing, 990 Antler Ct, River Falls, WI 54022
No charge to attend – Tap Room will be open for beverages and some snacks
A big Thanks to Rush River Brewing for providing the venue!

It’s just around the corner – the second Kinni Mini Clave is only a week from Saturday – We’ll be gathering on May 6th from 2-5pm at Rush River Brewing in River Falls, WI.

Come on over and cast some glass! We’ll be bringing a bunch of rods and we encourage everyone to bring their glass rods too – the more the better!

There’s no charge to attend – just a chance to meet other glass fans, try casting different rods and enjoy a spring afternoon. The tap room will be open if you want refreshments, and the Kinni is less than 10 minutes away if you want to do some fishing afterwards!

Some of the rods that will be there – Orvis new and old, Paddock, Scott, Barclay, and lots of others!

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone!

Weather looks a little iffy for Saturday, but it has changed every time I have looked at it this week, so maybe by that day it will have changed again, to sunny and beautiful...

Bring your glass rods and have some fun!

Thanks for putting this on, it was really nice to meet everyone and the line up of everyones fiberglass fly rods was top shelf. I had a very good time. A little nicer today, going to tie up some caddis and fish my glass rods.

Thanks!

A quick rundown of the Kinni Mini Clave from Saturday:

Unfortunately the weather did not treat us well this year. The day started out just as overcast, but right after we got set up in the afternoon, the rain moved in, and stayed until into the evening. The three hours of the Clave went from sputtering drips to heavy downpour back to drips, with a few moments of dryness mixed in. The weather seemed to keep some people away, but those of us who showed up had a fun time casting!

Here's your sign...

Thanks to Rush River Brewing for hosting us!

Hopefully next time the weather will cooperate!

Thanks for sharing, looks like everyone made the most of the experience and shrugged off the weather as much as possible.
