Hi,

Coming back after being in-active for a while.
Have some older Fenwick rods and CGR's in the stable that I hope see more action now that I retired.

Welcome back Jack, I'm contemplating retiring at the end of this year, not sure though, but if I can not get enough time off at the right times that may be the deciding factor. I have three of the first CGR's, I have never fished the short one (5'9"?) nor the heavy one (7/8) but I sure like the 5/6 when I fish it which is not often. My favorites are a prototype Kenney, and two blem blank McFarlands & two Steffens. Now that you are retired you should pick up some cheap rod & rebuild it, your going to need some thing to do this coming winter...
