Yes! Thank you everyone. I think its worth a reminder, especially to the younger folks on this forum, that service men and women were not always thanked for their service. I'm old enough that I remember when we were routinely looked upon with scorn (or worse) by certain segments of society. The first time someone said thanks, it was years after discharge and I was so taken aback I didn't quite know how to respond. So thank a vet or more importantly an active duty member if opportunity presents. It might seem a little embarrassing for one or both parties but I assure you it is appreciated.
