Hi all, Brian from Fort Worth. I just got back from the White River in Arkansas. Fishing was not very good because of the weather, but it gave me some needed practice. I have only been fly fishing for about 9 months. Late bloomer as I am 61. Decided to join forum since i had questions about an old glass rod.

Welcome Brian. I fish the White a couple of times a year and it can be challenging at times for fly fishing especially if the water is high on Bull Shoals and the dam is wide open. But if you hit it right there are some fantastic caddis fly hatches, both morning and evening, nice rainbows and huge brown trout.
