After multiple discussions Chris Barclay and I have decided to cancel the Clave. We were really looking forward to this event but with the state of everything we have decided that this is just not the year to host an event of this nature. We are very much looking forward to hosting Claves in the future.

I understand completely. With so much uncertainly in the air it's the prudent course. I was looking forward to meeting and fishing with everyone but next year is good. Maybe we can get Chris to do one in his territory next year too. Sort of like coast to coast claves.

Tough call, but very good to have this update for all who were interested.

Disappointing but completely understandable.

This gathering was going to be an extension of another trip to Colorado. Hopefully, things turn for the better and we are able to travel by August. If so, I will spend the extra days in the Colorado high country...fingers crossed.

Wyoming Cuttslam 2021!!

Yes, a very difficult and disappointing decision. But it seems to be for the best.
I think 2021 will be a year of 'do overs'.

I'm already putting it in the 2021 calendar.

Thanks for being thoughtful, even if it meant making a tough decision.

Bottom line is we take care of our people first, last, and always.

I know it was hard for you two gents to call it off, but I would rather you do that than to have somebody come down with the Rona or maybe even lose somebody.

You are men of courage, and leaders, and we appreciate that!

There will be 'clave(s) next year, and there will be trout to catch next year, and next year will be all the sweeter for having missed this year!

Y'all hang in there, and y'all be safe!
