Hey Everyone!

Signed up for this site a while back...just getting around to making my first post. Been fly fishing going on 20 years and building rods for around 8. A relative convert to glass compared to some of you I'm sure. A couple of my builds for your viewing pleasure.

Tight Lines

Mike

Welcome, Mikecarr56! Good-looking rods. I have a 7'8" 4wt "Sunset Red." Is yours one of those blanks?

Welcome, nice builds, "raw" white rods are gaining as my favorite.

The red 7'8" is an Aventik blank. I've built on the sunset red blanks a couple times and they are similar...might even be the same blank under a different name.

Live in Colorado, so lucky enough to fish our plethora of trout streams when life allows. Have a few impoundments near me as well that I'll frequent during the warmer months to try and catch bass like the one below.

She was a pleasure to fight on a ********* Western Glass 8'6" 6wt
