Just joined the forum and thought I would introduce myself. I live is a small city southwest of Minneapolis. I am nearing retirement and trying to pick up hobbies I once had or match my interests. I am an avid spin and bait cast fisherman, fishing mostly in North central MN and parts of Canada. I 63 now but in my early teens I fooled around with my Dads fly outfit. I always knew I would get back.......someday. Well that day is here. I plan to fish the driftless area for trout, the north shore of Superior for steelhead and visit family in the Rockies. So as I begin to put together my fly fishing kit I plan to visit your forum for advice and to learn. I have a question to start that involves my Dads old outfit and whether it would be a good plan to get it in working order, that however will be posted in the appropriate sub-forum.
