Gents,

Family and I will be spending Labor Day weekend in Lancaster Massachusetts for my daughter's soccer tournament. Looking for advice on where to spend a few hours in the morning to wet a glass rod. Smallmouth would be nice. A quick map view revealed the Nashua River as being very close. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Ryan

Very Good Ryan , Nashua River is great fishing depending on water levels , I religiously fished the stretch below the falls at Walker Rd , Shirley down to the 2A bridge via canoe , more largemouth in that area but definitely angry river fish , more smallmouth in the Groton / Pepperell stretches which there is a boat launch off rt 119 in Groton , but again Charlie may be able to give a little better particulars for shore/wade angling , Best of Luck to You ...
