Forgot to mention that when I went to set my tent up on Thursday it was discovered that I didn't have my tent poles. Mike loaned me his blue tarp and poles and we set up the kingly abode shown above. I actually slept better that night than I have in a long time. I bought a cheap new tent at Wal Mart the next day, planning to give it to my grandsons on my return home. This was supposed to be a 6 person tent that I intended to share with my friend Charlie who arrived on Friday. However, two adults on cots don't really fit well in this tent, so Charlie ended up sleeping in his car. I might as well have stayed with my kingly abode. Somehow my plans don't always work out. Such are the vicissitudes of fate.
