mdwwh; I know how you feel! We were having a kayak testing, where this guy brings a zillion kayaks and we try them out. Musta been 40 50 people standing around when i tried my first yak ride. I'm 5'6" tall and almost as round and i had chest out- belly sucked as i mounted the yak; which i mounted from the left and did a quick dismount on the right! I came up chest sunken, belly exposed panting like an ole lab dog!
(not one person even giggled)
We are the most curteous group of fly fishermen in the universe.
Later, my buddies were rolling in the floor telling about it!-p-

Well MM according to some of my wade fishing friends, being a guide now gives you eminent domain over your favorite waters, the right to be called your majesty, kick the lowly peasants to the shore and run over their lines if they don't move.  >D ;)
