Thanks for posting the link to this site. Mr. Fujioka is obviously very involved in our great sport on many levels.

Add another to the list of old fly reel enthusiasts.

he sure gets around. I envy his fly fishing travels and I am thankful he shares with the rest of us.

Rockthief, thank you.

I was very moved by his wintertime painting series of the trout hatchlings. A reminder that the winter season is never the "dead" season in nature.

This guy has a real gift of imagination, along with his field observations and his painting skills.

Would you consider contacting him to give him the link to this discussion thread?

middlemac, I have been contemplating doing just that. I will do it tonight. There is so much to explore there and I would like him to know that he is appreciated. He has left a legacy, a mighty creative one at that.

Indeed! indeed! :D I love his website and frequently visit his website, I always find something new. The trout stream information are great! He even labled the distribution of wild/stocked fish.
Also he have several tips refer to refine gears, I think his heart of treasuring old gears is the very warm feeling to me.

I agree it would be nice to express our appreciation. I have visited his site of and on for a couple of years and found beautiful and reflective, along with some practical advice.
