Barclay/Studio/Hardy

Barclay built Studio Thin Line 7’4” 2/3wt, number 6 of 7 total builds. Have the accomplished feeling of finishing a rod with a matching appropriate Reel & Line (took longer than usual). Doesn’t matter what reel and line it was wearing before because it was wrong, now its right. For this, A Hardy Duchess 2.75 lined with Rio Trout Lt 2wf. The rod handles this line wonderfully. Now I'm Happy...

It's been so long since I posted a photo, lets see if I can remember how....

The glow of old-style glass and a fine Hardy, plus CBarclay workmanship -- just beautiful!

The rod, the reel, the build, all add up to a classic outfit.

The blank reminds me of my first Hedon! Gave it away to local wounded vets program ..... Before being reborn again in fiberglass.

Very Nice rod!
