This is from some limited colors I got in my last inventory order. It’s an 866 with Lemke LC10, modifies Wells flor grip, and Universal Snake Guides.

Thanks for looking!

Sweet looking build, plus that is one of the best 6wts out there these days.

I like blue.
Is it OK to ask who made the blanks? MIKE? Looks like it's unsanded.

Thanks guys, for years CTS has made my Western Glass, which for design reasons I have left unsanded. With the changes CTS have made with their business they are no longer my supplier. Mike does 2 different series of tapers for me, one in eglass (shorter 3wts through 5wts), and the other in low modulus graphite (longer 3-6wts). I have a new supplier for the Western Glass, however that supplier will also be assisting me in opening my own blank factory next year. I anticipate rolling my own blanks by next October.

That's really awesome! Will the factory be in *********?

How will the new supplier change the action/taper? Or will they still be the same? Or are you using this as an opportunity to refine the current offerings even further?

(Lots of questions--sorry.)

My Western Glass tapers will not change with the new supplier or my new factory, however this is giving me the opportunity to create some new tapers approximately in 7' 3wts through 8' 6wts. The factory will eventually be in ********* although I might have to open it in Belgrade or Bozeman for the 1st year or 2 until we build a place. We might build a place next summer in ********* however. Questions are a good thing!

This is fantastic news and much good fortune in the upcoming endeavor....I've only cast Dusty's 865 and 866 and both are wonderful, wonderful rods.

That is exciting news Dusty, that must be pretty cool to have everything in house. Best of luck and can't wait to see the new offerings!
