What has this forum come to?????
We even have the renowned builder Fred Paddock referring to his beautiful blanks as junk, all because it seems no one will purchase his rods!!
And I'm not just referring to Kancho's post, look at the view ratio to comment ratio on this whole forum.. People who take the time to share there views, trips, builds, do it for us members.. Show a little appreciation every once in awhile, as it takes a lot of time,to what it seems is just entertaining the members..

Absolutely beautiful rod you built! To hand make that uplocking reel seat as I asked for, and integrated the butt into the reel insert is amazing..
And the beautiful hook keeper you made is pure art..
Dusty that's one beautiful blank..
I thank both of you for giving me the honor of owning this rod..

Received the rod from Kancho.. Those of you that haven't had the chance to see Kancho's work in person, your missing out.. The reel seat hardware is amazing, and the integrated fighting butt just amazes me.. Then to top it off I got to cast it, Dusty did an amazing job on this blank.. It cast a boat load of line when needed, and lay down as soft of presentation as you want, with total control of where you want it..
Best casting 5 wt I own by far.. Here's some pics with a couple different reels to show of the reel seat hardware..
