Here are some pictures of a few more rods I've completed recently.

This one is my Stout colored 75p blank with a ventilated Ritz grip with a composite front piece, Golden Witch ROY banded agate, Snake Brand Universal ECOAting guides, copper Kimono silk (cp'd at tiptop, grip and 12"), my darkened brass cap and ring. On it's way to Texas right now.

This one is my yellow 70p blank with darkened Snake Brand Universal and Mildrum guides, natural linen micarta butt and grip/seat transition, slim Ritz grip, darkened brass dual seat rings, Gossamer lemon yellow main wraps with occasional Gossamer chestnut tipping. Sometimes my yearly serial numbers work out so that the number lines up with the model number. This one happened to be 70p #70-17 (70th rod of 2017).

My 75p! I can't wait to have it in my hands tomorrow in Texas, and in Colorado on Wednesday! Thanks again Chris.

Congrats on the new 75p, TexSportsman! If it's anything like my 70p, it's going to go straight to the top of your 'go to rod' list. And mine doesn't even have the ventilated grip (yet).

Thanks, I'll be putting it through its paces on Thursday on some cool Colorado waters.

The touches of micarta trim just take the rod to the next level. Very nicely done and I am loving the ventilated grip on my 64p. I resisted it at first and my first 64p which I stupidly sold necessitated me rebuying another 64p and the new one with the ventilated grip is da bomb. It lives in the truck.

Thanks Gerry! So glad you're enjoying that rod.

I'm having a good time with using micarta as accents. It's functionality and simplicity fit in what what I like to do.
Here are a few more (prototype rods I'm working on)...

Thanks Jay!

Here's one I just finished...
A yellow 75p with a ventilated grip and a Morta (bog oak) reel seat.
Turned out the serial number on this one lined up well too - it's the 75th rod of this year.
