James Green 7'9" 5wt 3pcs Spring Creek
The rod has a sweet medium action and a great rod.

After building a lot of rods, this is the first time I could not decide what hardware I should use. So the new owner can decide which one he will take. The polished brushed brass or the blued brass. The insert is from Japanese Camphor burl. To get a nice result it needs at least 20 layers of tru oil. The Ritz grip is flor grade cork. This is all turned in house.

For guides I used one of the latest bronze Original Snake Brand guides and a bronze with brass Golden Witch stripping guide. All wrapped with Kimono silk in color minto and and some tipping in the Yamame color green.

This rod will come soon for sale including rod tube and rod sock for € 575,00 / $ 610,00 without shipment. For more info check my website http://www.yamameflyrods.com or soon via http://www.alternativetackle.com

Hope you like it
Nico

Those are really nice. I especially like how you tapered the spacers. BTW , what reel is that?

Hi scud dog,
Thanks for your nice comment.

This is reel is from Approach and the model is Genesis, it is click and pawl. available in more colors. They are made in verly low numbers in Taiwan and I am a reseller of it. All the info you can find on my website www.yamameflyrods.com

Hi Picketpin52,
Thanks for your nice comment.

Yes I did also the fabbing of the brass, was a lot of work to get a nice result, but after a lot of different tries and tests I am very happy with it.

regards,

Nico

Nico,

I like the color choice for your wraps. They go well with this blank.
