This rods need no further introduction, it is a great rod.
The ritz style cork grip the blued brass reel seat (Except the butt) and the insert made of Ebony wood are all turned in house.
The Blued Snake Brand Universal snake guides and the Joe Arguello stripping guide are wrapped with gold silk of YLI.
It was very difficult to get some nice pictures of the dark ebony and the nice bamboo effect on the rod.

This rod is on his way now to the owner and stays in Holland.

Very tasty grip. I really like the look of the hardware too. Ebony is some dense wood, mortising that seat must have been a whole lot of fun.

Indeed ebony is dense wood and with a lot of patience it can be done
Therefore I will not do it often with ebony.
