A fellow member ask me to do a different build on one 8'1 5wt blanks, He wanted a near all black rod. Here's what we came up with. Lemke seat with a custom turned black ebony insert, clear wraps with some black trim bands. Blued mildrum and black nickel snake brand guides.

Buffalo horn (ebony) is a fantastic insert material, a bit smelly when turned I was told. Sharp looking rod!
