Lamiglas SFL 905S

All the rain out west has given me some time to work on rods. I love these old Lamiglas SFL rods and this one is my favorite of the all models I've tried. Wrapped in cinnamon silk with brown tipping. Half wells grip and an uplocking Lemke seat with walnut insert. Snake brand guides and a Mildrum stripper.

Super job. Has a classic look that never fails to please - to my eye anyway-- and I love the translucent brown blank.

Great build.
Man, but I really like the looks of those Lami S-glass blanks. Does anyone have a stock of them, or is it just a matter luck finding one?

Beautiful work Drew. The cinnamon is perfect and your seat and cork are outstanding. I don't know if there are any more beautiful blanks than the translucent amber of these SFL's. I'm going in a different direction with the blank I bought from you but then again, its a 6/7 wt beast. So far I've only dry fit everything and stared at it. Waiting for a stretch of bad weather so I can sit at the bench for a while and work.
