Hey!

Looking for confirmation on my research by any experienced colorado guys. Wife and I are headed for backpacking in the Maroon Bells, Black Canyon (Gunnison) and Telluride (San Migual) on the 18th. I know this covers a broad spectrum from high lakes to SW rivers, but I am attempting to find flies that generally cover the time and area...

Here is what I seem to have that kind of covers these areas. Please correct or add, but if someone could let me know if I have ones on here that aren't really yielding and shed some light on best ones as I am attempting to take bare minimums. Going for sizes 8-18...

Daves Hoppers
Ants
Beetles
Blue Winged Olives
Woolly Buggers (Obviously... ha)
Pale Morning Dunns
Mahogany Dunns
Parachute Adams
October Caddis
Red Quill
Leeches
Damselflies
Copper Johns
Pheasant Tails
Tricos
Sculpins

Thanks in advance for any help!

Dillon

I haven't fished those, and I'm a bit south, but I might add scuds for the lakes, gold ribbed hare's ears, and, if you are willing to use them, worms.

and I'm on a simi leech kick, so those too. :)
