No, not trout flies...these are saltwater flies I use for albacore/bonito here in New England.

I used kanekalon fibers which is a hair wig material. I am pretty sure the SF blend has a very similar type of fiber in it too. EP fibers are different-more like polypropylene (finer texture.)

These are flies which match specific bait for the current conditions, and are made for tunoids (not for bass), so they are on the small side: 2-4" approximately. The flies you mention will be a good selection for bass...make some bigger flies with wider profile. For a basic selection striper box I would include clousers, hollow flies, deceivers and some gurglers.

Hey guys, thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving! I tied few more yesterday so here's one from a slightly different angle:

Small skillet, medium heat, minced garlic and butter (olive oil if you prefer) - cook 1 minute per side, then consume. Delicious!
