I have an older Richardson Fly Box that is from the "Rex Richardson" era. The foam that was used in some of the compartments has basically dissinagrated over the years. Most of the foam can simply be rubbed off but the foam where I suspect hash originally absorbed the glue is a bit harder to remove.
I'm wondering if there is some sort of solvent or material that can be applied to remove the combination of foam and glue?
Anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers
Chad

Did I sell you that box several years ago? I'd try 91% isopropyl alcohol, available at a drug store, first. If that doesn't do it find some acetone. Use both in a well ventilated area.

I use either De-Solv-It or Eucalyptus oil for this sort of thing. Don't know what you have in the States though.

Ha! Yes I think you did sell it to me! Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure but acetone makes sense to me.
I like eucalyptus oil but I'm not sure where I would get that.

Lighter fluid may work, acetone should work for sure I would think.
