I'm looking for a nice 5-wt blank. 8'6" would be nice, but 8' ok too. Anybody have a suggestion on a blank available now. I just built a rod on the 965 Lamiglas blank and I love it. I'd like to try something different, but if I can't find anything I may order another Lamiglas. Also, might consider a 6-wt if I don't find what I want.

Greg

If you get hold of James Green, he might be able to offer you one.

Marty Romeo of Deep Bend Rodworks was selling some James Green 8'3", 8'6", and 8'9" 5wt blanks awhile back and Dusty from ********* Rod Company has 8'6" and 8'9" 5wt rods (and I think you can get a blank) that everyone really likes.

Hello, there are several great choices for an 8 to 8’ 6” 5 wt. blank. The Epic 8’ is wonderful as is the James Green and ********* 8’6” 5 wts. The ********* Rod/ blank is really special. If you like a really slow rod Blue Halo has a nice 8’ blank. Dusty is selling a Janes Green 8’6” 3 piece 5 wt. that is near mint for $200.00. That is $40.00 less than the cost of the blank. It has Snake Brand guides and a Lemke reel seat.
