Hi Guy's

I'm after info on this reel such as when they were made?

Was it a salt water model?

There seems to be much more info on the web about the model 72 and I correct in thinking they share the same drag system?

the M72 is a multiplier.
The M71 is a large capacity single action with the same disc drag.
Could use it for a salt reel or a salmon reel.

It showns up in the 1979 catalog
