have been seeing cane rod sections cut down for reel handle knobs.Looks cool ,practical ?I have no idea

Abel wood handles for the TR series are like 6 bucks from Abel if you call them. Might be worth the gamble to see if it'll fit.

Aurelio - is the handle affixed to the spool by a screw? If so, I can make you one. Don’t have any zebra wood but do have some other hard woods. I would need the original handle and screw to match size/length. Roy

Just found a piece of zebra wood in the garage. Didn’t think I had any. Anyway, if the handle removeable, let me know. By the way, I will be coming by myself on Wednesday afternoon/evening. Roy

Just don’t lose the plastic one! If you ever sell the reel the value will decrease to any collector.

How hard would it be buy a pen blank or a 1”x1” piece of wood from any of the exotic wood suppliers mount it to the end of a drill or a Dremel tool and get after it with sand paper.
????

Thanks Bob , but I will get Roy to do it and take 25 bucks off his bill.Roy I have a calipers and when you get here we can measure it and it does have a screw and Jason TX I will save the plastic one its in good shape.......aurelio
