Hi everyone,

Our new line of leaders is in stock! They are based on George Harvey's leader designs during his long fishing career. His original leader formula included a hard mono butt section. As he perfected his "slack line" style of casting he switched the hard mono butt to a softer mono. With his leader design evolving over time he stayed with the soft mono butt and adjusted the lengths and diameters of the leaders. We have all three in stock and they are available individually or as a three pack which includes one of each style. They are all hand tied by Chris Fave faithfully reproducing the original formulas. Complete specs for all leaders are listed on the website.

Leaders are $4.00 each or a three pack of each style for $11.00.

These are the first leaders in what we call our "Preserving the Past" Series. We will be recreating other leader formulas from various fly fishing luminaries over time.

A portion of each sale will be donated to the "Joe Humphrey Angling Fund" at Penn State to help aspiring anglers achieve their dreams.

We will have them all our leaders, along with the lines, available to try lined up and ready to go.

Going to be very enjoyable for Alexis and I to meet everyone at the Clave.

Tom

I made my own to those formulas for years and loved the results. Then I got lazy and the knotless commercial ones got to be pretty good and I forgot the difference.

Just placed an order to get it right again.

Now for silk lines? No, I'm not that retro!
