I've used the Cortland Peach DT lines for decades. After reading this thread no one mentioned how they compare.
I recently did a lawn casting session where I tried, among other lines, a same-weight DT Peach and a DT 406 with a couple of different rods. In each case, I either preferred the 406 or thought the lines were about equal. And with the exception of one rod, I think for each rod they were my top two choices of all the lines I tried, though in a few cases it was really splitting hairs. As to how they compare, I don't know that I can be more specific than to simply say that in general my loops were tighter and my casts looked better with the 406 - again, in some cases the lines seemed about the same; perhaps with more extensive testing I'd be able to discern a measureable difference. I think both lines are great for glass, but I do favor the 406.
As for other comparisons/differences: the 406 is thinner than the Peach (I don't know the actual diameter of each, but it's apparent to the naked eye); and, depending on the light conditions, the Peach can be easier to see on the water as the 406 is a more stealthy/neutral color (I guess opinions could vary as to whether better visibility favors the fish or the fisherman).
