Can someone please date this rod? It says it is glass but looks fairly modern. Could it be 1976ish?, and one of the last bunch made in USA.
I cant figure out how to show pictures. (my first post)
The top of label shows:
Garcia TROUT Glass
foam type grip, glass to glass ferrules, color--black

Thank you so much! Can you tell anything about quality of the item. I mean how it rates against the other spinning rods? Or is it the only glass one left in the 1980 line up.

Replying to your PM as well, yes, those are screen captures of the catalog on sale on eBay (I only have the 1978 issue). Looks like a cool rod!
