Green WondOrods look good on a Christmas Tree.
8'6" with a perfect label, smooth tight ferrules, clean wraps and mint looking reel seat. A little cleaning on the cork...

Now to find a 7'9".
YO, Tooty!

(And The FGM beanie looks swell too)

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays

Bob

It depends on the lighting when that model is photographed. They are translucent.
I don't know how it will cast for me but it's so damn pretty I had to have it.

I've got a green one that is labeled 8' 5" instead of 8' 6". Don't recall if it really is 8'5" or not. I use it once in a great while, mine is a 9wt and will throw a ton of line, but I have rods that are more fun to use.

I think those green WondOrods are just beautiful, and pretty scarce according to Tooty. He knows the details on them, and hopefully he'll pitch in on this. Great find!

That is a great seasonal color combination (and, really, a great color combination at anytime).

Bob,

I am green with envy.

You just need to do a bulk buy of Tooty's rods. It's going to happen someday, so you might as well do it in one fell swoop. :-)

Have a Merry Christmas.

You got em Bob and many thanks for buying most of my collection this year. Now only to find more !!!!!!!!These greens are the hardest to find as you already know Bob. I guess the only harder one is the elusive Dr. Howald Special of course . Those are way outta my league at this time .....

It's a great hat. Doesn't ride up the ears like a lot of knit caps do. Only problem I've had so far is a couple people seeing only part of the lettering and asking me what "ass is not dead" means. LOL

Certainly. I've been browsing the auction site, I spotted this little devil. Dice have been rolled. I took a shot in the last 30 seconds and after the ensuing return sniper fire I was left standing. Its supposed to have loose thread at the ferrules, but it looks like the spiral wraps of at least one guide are toast alsoImageImage

Gave special, instruction on the shipping. All there is to do now is try not to worry until arrival.

Nice find! That wrap looks like it will be easy to fix. Let us know what the date code is on your WondOrod, and if it is a hollow blank? Thanks!
