I had a couple of hours to kill this morning, so I got my feet wet in the Toccoa. I got skunked but I'll make up for that tomorrow.

My favorite Fenwick and a 4wt Butter Stick I just picked up recently.

Yep this is down at Horseshoe Bend. Very easy access for when the wife comes along.

The Fenwick is a 315. Such a smooth little rod. I have a 6wf on it right now, and it pretty much casts itself.

Great access, but usually gets pretty warm there by now. I have had some late summer success when the shade's on the other side, since you can wade out so far. Never much, just enough to avoid skunkage.

That 315 is kind of a holy grail rod for me. I have a FL-84 (I think) and a Pastor of roughly the same era, both with metal ferrules, and just love the action. The 315 doesn't seem to come up for sale that often. Enjoy!
