the past weekend brought another opportunity to fish the second of my recent tag sale finds. I fished the 1963 built (I was 8 years old) Fenwick 7 foot 5/6 rod. I had read that this rod would cast a 4 weight line and it did rather well. Numerous crappie,gills and yellows came to hand, this rod caused the "wow" factor to kick in. what a wonderful rod. I went all glass this weekend as I also fished the 71/2 6 weight and one of my favorite glass spin rods. Retro never looked better.
