Well.....Easter..............What to do today? My better half and I are always looking to find "THAT" place. You know the one that sits in the back of your minds eye that just says "I could live here". Well yesterday, Easter, we headed out to parts unknown to check on a rumor that had what we might be looking for. The only requirements I have for this location is there must be a Trout stream on or next to the land and Ruffed Grouse present. Not much to ask for I think. My wife simply wants a place for the grand kids to roam and play. A fixer upper might be "OK". Well this place sure needed a bit of fixing up but the trout were there and rumor has it that the grouse are just up the road. So is this "THE PLACE". Probably not. But the ride was worth it and we had a splendid Easter afternoon. Enjoy!

The long road in......no traffic and no people, awesome!

The digs, A fixer upper? Really?

I said to my wife that I could make a living on Beaver pelts here. :)

Gorgeous! I can't imagine fishing in the shadow of mountains like that.

Such a great setting it might be worth considering that teardown......er, fixer. FMV = land value less demo costs.

Demo? I was thinking it would much cheaper with a match. :) You know, get a case of beer and a few friends and have one heck of a BBQ. :)

I enjoy seeing the great territory you have out there, glad to see you had a good day. In many ways, "the search" is often more exciting than "the find"......hope that you have many more good days searching!

HA, I had the same thought when I read Mark's match comment. Definitely a case where the individual parts are worth more than the assembled whole.

Nice way to spend an Easter. Would be nice to have a trout stream in my backyard.
