Wow! Love the photos, especially that first one. The Kenney 813 is a superb rod in all respects.

Appreciate all the fine comments. Heading north in the morning for day 2 and the pursuit of trout.

Pecos: It is a brook trout. They were more active than the brown trout on this visit. Tricos and terrestrial patterns on top and a few other patterns below worked. This section is known for brook trout and decent sized brown trout.

Jhuskey: The building is a part of a private fishing club that has been in constant existence for decades.

Thank you for the nice comments all.

Awesome rod! Great pics!

Kenny's are the best! I have that same rod on order for delivery in early 2015 and I am counting the days. . .

Ken - Thanks for this beautiful set of pictures! I'm sad I didn't make it to the states this summer. Hopefully I can make it next year, and spend some time at your charming club.

Christian, You are welcome back any time.

Cameron, With all of your travels the 8055 will see some wonderful places. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

Three Kenney rods were present on my last visit north between those present and each a joy to cast.

Nice pics of some great looking water.
Like Wes, I have an 813 on order too. Please tell us, what reel is that and how's the balance?

Thanks for the great pictures of a beautiful place. It's hot and dry in Texas right now, and being able to enjoy your views keeps me looking forward to the arrival of Fall.

Looking at a few past photos on reading news of the the return (at present) from photo the hosting service.

Scud, Just saw your old question on the reel shown. It is a vintage Orvis Battenkill by Young with a three weight line. Have also used the smallest St. George and Hardy Featherweight on this rod for fly fishing and all seemed fine.

Albeit nearly four years later, thanks for the answer Grouse. :)
I bought a Ogden Dry from Mike at Mountain Brook in bronze. Great balance and looks like it was made for the rod. I can't say enough about the rod. Thanks again for telling me to get one Duff!
