I got a very nice call today from a board member who reminded me there is one thing I forgot to do. Here is a picture of Buck Juhasz fishing the Mad River last Tuesday:

Courtesy of Buckley Juhasz, recently I had a chance to fish one of Dick Fujita's prototype nine foot Sceptres. Note that all of Dick's rods had a flattened thumb groove on top of the grip. It was very special being able to fish this rod, and I know that Dick would have loved that it got to go fishing, too.

I have a Scott 7' Midge Rod 6 wgt cane that was the store demo and at least five Scepter rods some factory others built to hardy spec. I have a 4 pc Scepter that must be unusual

ive got 2 sceptre rods. one unbuilt. i wish i had bought more of them when he was getting rid of them. i originally bought 3, two 7'ers anf the long one. but sold one of the short ones. i miss the shop.

Awesome rod and history there! I fished Monday with my 8’6” Sceptre that I finally built out. Amazing taper going to be very versatile.
